The Head of Delegation of Mozambique, H.E. Daniel Chapo has reiterated the country’s dedication to solidifying economic links with Zimbabwe, especially in trade and investment sectors.

During the 65th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, Chapo pointed out that the collaboration of the two countries was more than enough to push through such areas as agriculture, industry, transport, and logistics.

The geographic location of Mozambique and its natural resources such as the fertile land and minerals are the things that attract the most investors from Zimbabwe. The corridor, of which the Beira Corridor is a critical part, is crucial for transacting and transporting goods between Mozambique and the countries that have no direct access to the sea in the region.

Chapo urged the people of Zimbabwe to get involved in activities such as agriculture and industry in Mozambique and also to take part in the 60th Edition of the Maputo International Fair (FACIM 2025) to be held in the country.

The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair is a platform for bringing the countries closer and Mozambique’s participation indicates its efforts to improve, not only trade but economic relations with Zimbabwe and many other countries.
