CPO Shumba, Security Consultant (ZISO)A deeply disturbing video has surfaced, showing a woman being brutally attacked by a group of other women after she was accused of having a relationship with one of their husbands. In this harrowing footage, the woman is seen being beaten violently while holding her small baby in her arms. This act of barbaric violence is unacceptable and sets a very dangerous and wrong precedent in Zimbabwe. No matter the accusation, violence is never the answer. The fact that this woman was attacked while caring for her child makes the incident even more horrifying. Such behaviour undermines the very essence of our justice system and erodes the values of respect, dignity, and fairness that we should uphold as a society. This situation demands action. The individuals responsible for this assault must be held accountable for their actions. There is no justification for taking the law into one’s own hands, and this kind of mob justice should have no place in Zimbabwe. As a nation, we can not afford to turn a blind eye to such incidents associated they perpetuate a culture of violence and impunity.I urge anyone with information about this incident or the individuals involved to come forward and share it with the relevant authorities, the admin, or myself. We must ensure that justice is served and that those responsible are arrested and prosecuted. This is a very wrong precedent. Violence against anyone, especially in such a cruel and public manner, can not and should not be tolerated in our society. Let’s work together to put an end to such acts of violence and to protect the rights and dignity of every individual in Zimbabwe.
