The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) has announced a streamlined process for individuals dissatisfied with the services provided at any of its offices. This initiative aims to enhance accountability and ensure that the public can voice their concerns effectively.

Individuals who feel they have received inadequate service—whether as witnesses, accused persons, complainants, or members of the public—are encouraged to register their complaints at the nearest NPAZ office. These offices are conveniently located in every Magistrates Court building across the country.

One can then lodge a complaint at the nearest office of the NPAZ by making a request to see the Prosecutor In Charge. At all times, complainants are encouraged to follow up on matters concerning their complaints. A complaint that is not satisfactorily responded to within reasonable time enables one to approach the Chief Public Prosecutor in the relevant Province.

Failure of which one may lodge complaints with the head of the Monitoring, Training and Evaluation Unit at NPAZ’s Head Office, 101 Kwame Nkrumah Ave, Harare or through NPAZ Monitoring, Training and Evaluation Unit, Gweru Government Complex, 10th Street, Gweru.

The Monitoring, Training and Evaluation Unit is committed to responding to all complaints within 72 hours upon receipt, according to the NPAZ Client Charter, as it takes every complaint seriously and as a matter of interest.
