Sithethelelwe Sibanda Returns as Mighty Warriors Head Coach

Sithethelelwe Sibanda is back as the head coach of the Mighty Warriors, Zimbabwe’s Women’s Senior National Team. The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) made the announcement regarding her appointment. Sibanda, who holds a CAF A coaching license, will take charge of the team for the upcoming COSAFA Cup tournament scheduled for October in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

Sibanda’s reappointment marks a significant milestone for the Mighty Warriors, as she previously led the team from 2017 to 2021. Her experience and leadership played a pivotal role in shaping the team during her tenure. Notably, she was part of the coaching staff that made history by qualifying for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
