By African Christian Council International – International Executive Team (IET)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, esteemed bishops, reverends, pastors, and leaders of all denominations across Zimbabwe,

We come before you today, not as individuals but as a united team the International Executive Team of the African Christian Council International (ACCI). We share a common purpose and a shared commitment to our faith, our communities, and our nation. Like you, we have felt the weight of the challenges facing our people and our churches. Yet, in the face of adversity, we are filled with hope and strength because we believe in what God is doing through ACCI and through each of you.

In every corner of Zimbabwe, we see the challenges that confront our congregations and our communities. Economic difficulties, social unrest, and the weight of despair press down on so many. These challenges can often leave us questioning our impact and whether we are making a difference. But it is precisely in these moments that we must remember why ACCI exists to unite us as one body of Christ, to strengthen us so that no leader, no church, and no community must face these struggles alone.

ACCI is not just an organisation; it is a calling from God. A calling for us to come together, to stand as one, and to be a beacon of hope in a troubled world. The challenges may be great, but we serve a God who is greater. ACCI is a reminder that we do not walk this path alone. Together, we are stronger, and together, we will face these challenges head-on, empowered by our faith and united in purpose.

As leaders of ACCI, we urge church leaders across Zimbabwe, from all denominations to take a stand against the social issues that are tearing our communities apart. Drug abuse, child marriages, domestic violence, and corruption are plagues that harm the most vulnerable among us, and they must be confronted with the full strength of our united voices. We call on all of you to preach against these evils from your pulpits, to speak out with courage and conviction, and to lead by example in your communities.

But words alone are not enough. We must also act. We encourage churches to organise education and awareness campaigns that tackle these critical issues head-on. Let us be proactive in offering support to those struggling with addiction, in protecting children from the horrors of early marriage, in standing with survivors of domestic violence, and in holding accountable those who engage in corruption. Through education, awareness, and practical support, we can make a real difference in the lives of our people.

We are not just individual pastors and bishops scattered across Zimbabwe; we are a united front. We are ACCI. Together, we can create churches that are more than just buildings, they can become sanctuaries of healing and restoration. Together, we will raise a generation that knows the power of unity in Christ and stands firm against the forces that seek to tear us apart.

As we move forward, let us hold fast to the vision of ACCI. Let us continue to roar with boldness and courage, knowing that God is with us every step of the way. The battles we face are real, but as long as we stand together and keep our eyes on Christ, we will not be defeated.

We are lions of faith, and Zimbabwe is our mission field. Through ACCI, we will see this nation transformed for the glory of God. Let us continue to fight the good fight, to lead with passion and purpose, and to rest in the knowledge that we are not alone. We stand with you, we pray with you, and we believe that the best is yet to come for all of us and for our beloved Zimbabwe.

We also urge you to join us in lifting up our Grand President, Archbishop Johannes Ndanga, and the Leader of our country, President Emmerson Mnangagwa, in prayer. May God guide them in their leadership as they navigate these challenging times.

Together, as one body, one voice, one ACCI, let us go forward in the strength of the Lord. Let us continue to be a light in the darkness and a force for good in Zimbabwe. Through unity and faith, there is nothing we cannot achieve.
