When the world woke up on Sunday morning celebrating the risen King, the congregation of Rome woke up to the sad news that the pope has died on Easter Monday. The Pope is the bishop of Rome and the head of the worldwide Catholic Church. He plays a significant role in all sections of Christianity.

Catholicism is covered in deep spiritual secrecy. So A papal conclave is a secret gathering of the College of Cardinals in the Catholic Church, convened to elect a new father bishop of Rome, who will takeover the office of Pope. The secret method of selecting the Pope who wears two important jackets has remained active to this date. The carefully selected cardinals assemble in the Sistine Chapel to choose the next spiritual leader of the church who will become the head of state of The Vatican.
Cardinals under the age of 80 are typically not eligible to participate in the conclave; however, there have been recent exceptions.
A two-thirds supermajority vote is required to elect a new Pope. This is the process used in many political governments that two thirds majority should amend the constitution.
