By Dr Masimba Mavaza A grave mix-up at West Park Cemetery in Bulawayo has sparked a bitter dispute between two families, leading the City Council to step in and approve an exhumation to uncover the truth.According to B Metro, the controversy began when the Somkence family placed a tombstone on what they believed was the resting place of their relative, Caleb Somkence. However, records from the City Council indicate that Florence Saunyama was buried in the same grave—Grave 19 of the Old Anglican General Section—in 2003.While Somkence was also buried in the same section in 2004, the exact location of his grave was never recorded.
