Mnangagwa emphasized the party’s commitment to unity, development, and the vision for a prosperous Zimbabwe.The conference, which brought together thousands of delegates, highlighted robust discussions on the future direction of ZANU PF and the nation. President Mnangagwa expressed his gratitude to attendees for their insightful contributions, which he described as critical for advancing the party’s agenda and the country’s development.“We emerge from this conference more united, renewed, and full of vigor for the work that lies ahead,” said Mnangagwa, reinforcing the notion that every party member must recommit to ZANU PF’s strategic vision, from grassroots to national levels. The conference theme, “Industrialise and Modernise Towards the Attainment of Vision 2030,” underpinned discussions focused on industrial transformation and sustainable development. The President called for the implementation of resolutions that emerged from the conference to ensure no community is left behind.Mnangagwa urged party members to embrace a spirit of unity, stating, “No village, ward, or district can be developed by a bickering and divided people.” He underscored the importance of grassroots engagement and urged all party structures to translate conference outcomes into tangible community programs. “ZANU PF musangano wevanhu. Ngatigarei muvanhu, maintaining strong bonds with the people”, HE added.“Our development philosophy, Nyika inovakwa, inotongwa, inonamatigwa nevene vayo, must continue to be embedded in everything that we do,” he said.Mnangagwa called on party members to reject corruption, regionalism, and tribalism. He emphasized the need for unity and harmony within the party and the nation. “Gwara reMusangano wedu we ZANU PF harishanduke.”The President also reminded delegates of the party’s foundational principles, emphasizing loyalty, discipline, and respect within the ranks. He warned against divisive behaviors, including favoritism and corruption, calling on members to embody the values instilled by ZANU PF’s founding leaders. He noted that, “ZANU PF is a Party of rules and order. Matare eMusangano akajeka. Hakuna mazvake mazvake.” His Excellency also emphasized ZANU PF’s legacy as both a liberation movement and a party for the future, underlining its role in addressing the needs of all Zimbabweans. “No one and no place must be left behind,” he declared, as he called for the implementation of policies that would enhance social development across all sectors.He further encouraged young people to engage actively in the party’s development philosophy, stressing their importance as the “storehouse of national hope.” Mnangagwa’s remarks resonated with the audience, invoking a sense of duty among the youth to carry forward ZANU PF’s revolutionary ideals.The conference also served as a platform for addressing internal challenges within the party. Mnangagwa reminded delegates of the importance of discipline, respect, and unity, urging members to reject divisive tendencies such as regionalism and tribalism. “Let us be remembered for uniting the Party and helping others, not dividing the Party and our people,” he said.As the conference drew to a close, Mnangagwa encouraged delegates to return to their communities with the message that ZANU PF is united and prepared to foster new victories and socio-economic milestones. He affirmed that under ZANU PF leadership, Zimbabwe would continue to rise despite challenges, including economic sanctions.In his concluding remarks, the President congratulated all participants and celebrated the fruitful discussions that took place throughout the conference and declared it officially closed, wishing attendees safe travels home, echoing the sentiments of unity and collective progress that marked the conference. “God bless you all.
