Muneyi Zavare, Chairman of ZANU PF UK, has reacted strongly to an anonymous article alleging he is pushing for a 2030 agenda regarding President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s tenure extension.

Speaking to Zimba Wave News, Cde Zavare dismissed the claims as baseless and the work of individuals lacking the courage to express their views openly.

Cde Zavare pointed out that Decision-Making Authority is vested in the party, not in a chairperson.

Cde Zavare emphasized that decisions on presidential term extensions are not made by districts but are matters for the party’s Congress to determine.

Party Discipline: He stressed he will adhere to the party’s position and act according to directives given by ZANU PF.

In his Critique of Anonymous Article cde Zavare condemned the article as the product of “cowards who can’t stand for their beliefs,” suggesting authors hiding behind anonymity lack conviction.

He underscored that party districts operate based on official party instructions, not social media speculation or gossip.

Cde Zavare affirmed his support for President Emmerson Mnangagwa, stating he will follow the President’s commands.

He described the article’s author as producing “loud-sounding nothing,” implying the claims are empty and lacking substance.

The response reflects ongoing debates and tensions within ZANU-PF regarding leadership and succession.

Cde Zavare’s strong language indicates a robust defense of his stance and loyalty to the party and its leadership.

The targeting of an anonymous article highlights issues of authorship accountability in political discourse.
